  • Award winning broadcast journalist.  Winner ‘UK Travel Broadcast journalist of the Year’ 2011 – for work on ‘Indian Times’ and Nominee in 2010, 2011 and 2012
  • Championed the creation and implementation of video content on Channel 4’s most successful online portal
  • Founded ‘Media Ark Ltd’ a London-based video production agency, growing the company from 2 to 20 people and to over £1 million turnover, then brokered a deal to sell the company to ‘Hangar Seven’.
  • Established and managed Hangar Seven's video offering enabling successful sale of the wider agency. Held a senior management position responsible for 20+ staff and entire agency's video output of over 1000 productions per year. Instrumental in winning clients such as Diageo, Tesco and Unilever.

  • Grew to £800k turnover in year one and £1.6M by year two

2014 - 2017 Director Of Production – Hangar Seven

  • Implemented new video department including processes and guidelines
  • Senior Management position overseeing 20+ staff
  • Helped to diversify the agency away from retail into consumer brands and leverage existing photography clients into video
  • Instrumental in positioning the agency into a position for sale

2007 - 2014 Production Director and Founding Partner – Media Ark Ltd

  • Day to day running of a team of 20 across multiple projects including broadcast TV and online video
  • Pitched into and won numerous clients
  • Brokered a deal to sell the agency to Hangar Seven

2007 – 2007 Video Manager – Natural History Museum

  • Responsible for all video content across the Museum and online
  • Ran a team of 7 staff and charged with streamlining video output

2005 – 2007 Video Content Manager – Channel 4 / IWC Media / 4CAR

  • Implementation of the first online video content on Channel4.com
  • Ran the video side of 4CAR Channel 4’s most commercially successful site

2003 – 2005 Producer / Director – Katipo Productions

  • Pitched, produced and directed an 11 part TV travel documentary series
  • Self funded series sold to Travel Channel International, Canal + (France), TVNZ and under licence to many more
